The Lord of the Rings.
This is a work in progress for me. I saw the first movie when it came out and I'm hooked. And when I'm done reading for the day I use my handy dandy LOTR bookmark (with golden ring and everything) to mark my place. Go Frodo, go Frodo, go, go, go Frodo.

Wonder Boys by Michael Chabon.
This is such a great book. Chabon rocks.

Wake Me When It's Funny by Garry Marshall.
I can't say enough about this one. It's chock full of humor and witty anecdotes. It's been a while since I've picked it up...it's definitely on my short list.

A River Runs Through It by Normal MacLean.
This is one of my all-time faves. I laughed, I cried, etc. I pick this one up at least once a year. The prose is compelling, and MacLean is an inspiration.

Clutch Grabwell. See Ya
For those of you not fortunate enough to live in or near Boston, you're missing out on a hella, hella good band (or a "wicked awesome group" as we Bostonians say). These guys rock. This is their third full-length CD. I don't know what the hell the music industry is waiting for...get on the stick. Their horn-driven rock will blow your mind. And the lead singer, John Boyle, is a regular riot onstage. Check out their site for more information.

Elton John. Songs from the West Coast
If I had the time I'd put all of Elton John's CD covers up here. I love this guy. Recently saw him in concert for the second time (this time with Billy Joel), and, you guessed it, he rocked! Plus, he's a hell of a good guy.

Josh Groban.
This kid is amazing. Close your eyes and you think you're listening to Bocelli. His voice is soulful, and his repertoire is stunning.

Bar none, the best show on television today. 'Nuff said.

I know, I know, I'm a schizo, so sue me. I'm obsessed with exactly 2 shows on television today...and they couldn't be further apart! But, come on, how could you NOT love this show?!? It's the f***ing bomb, man! I mean with the possible exception of the lack of rules, curfews, etc., this family is Joe Bloody Average. I don't care what anyone says, you can see the love these people have for each other (when they're not cussing one another out), and THAT is why I watch.
