I've got a lot of catching up to do blog-wise! I have an assortment of entries which I've started, but haven't had time to finish. I will (hopefully) be getting to those at some point this weekend...so, please, stop emailing me. I've had some disgruntled readers calling me on the fact that I'm slacking. I'm well aware...but, you know, thanks.
Here's my problem: I'm crushed under the weight of deadlines with work, I've just started two classes which are both going to require a lot of attention (I've got to get back in student mode!), I'm just recovering from the Jerry Lewis telethon, I'm also *still* recovering from the Labor Day party we had that preceded the telethon(!), I have a new client and a potential new writing gig (if I can get my ass in gear!), and I haven't slept more than 2 hours a night in months. So get off my back, k? Thanks.
I promise I'll return with lots of new stuff soon. I'll touch on all of the above, plus lots of stuff about the catastrophe on the Gulf Coast. That's something else that's demanding my attention these days...Joe and I were going to go down to Otis Air Force Base for a week to volunteer our services, but suddenly there are no evacuees to attend to. So instead we're trying to take in some people who are in some serious need of help. Nothing is ever easy though...lots of Red Tape!
